About Arborforge Studios

Arborforge Studios is an independently owned publishing studio focused on original fantasy worlds and comics.

Our flagship project is Vita Arbor: The Chainbreaker Chronicles, a long-form fantasy series exploring the Great War of Vita Arbor, the secrets the Gods held close, and something known only as The Balance.

Arborforge exists because we believe that a world does not have to end at the edge of a comic page.

Vita Arbor has its own history, cultures, nations, characters and conflicts, many of which exist far beyond the story currently being told. Through the comics, the World Archive and whatever may come in the future, we want to give readers the opportunity to explore as much, or as little, of that world as they choose.

Arborforge Studios is creator-led, working with professional artists and collaborators to turn writing and worldbuilding into finished comics.

Readers can expect ongoing issues of Vita Arbor: The Chainbreaker Chronicles, collected editions, additional lore through the World Archive, merchandise and, as Arborforge grows, new stories and worlds.

About the Founder

Ryan Tallon is the founder of Arborforge Studios and the writer and creator of Vita Arbor: The Chainbreaker Chronicles.

A long-time lover of in-depth fantasy worlds, Ryan has always been particularly interested in the parts of fictional worlds that exist beyond the immediate story. Their history, politics, cultures, religions and the people who continue living their lives beyond the edges of the page.

With a background in psychology and healthcare, writing was not originally intended to become a career. Vita Arbor instead grew over a number of years through a simple love of creating characters, histories and places, and asking what happened before, what happens next, and why the world became the way it is.

Arborforge Studios was created to finally give those stories a home and turn that world into something tangible.

Arborforge in the Long Term

Our goal is fairly simple.

We want Arborforge Studios to continue to grow while creating original stories and worlds that readers can enjoy, explore and connect with.

Vita Arbor is where that journey begins, but hopefully it will not be where it ends.
