Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Arborforge Studios website or purchase products directly from us.
By placing an order with Arborforge Studios, you agree to the terms set out below.
Nothing within these terms affects the rights you have under UK consumer law.

Using Our Website
You may use the Arborforge Studios website for personal and lawful purposes.
You must not deliberately interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to customer accounts or restricted areas, or use the website in a way that could cause harm to Arborforge Studios or other users.
We may update, change or temporarily remove parts of the website as it develops.
Products
We aim to describe our products as accurately as possible.
Images are provided to help represent the products being sold, although there may occasionally be small differences in colour, print finish or appearance between what is displayed on a screen and the finished physical product.
Product descriptions, formats and included items will be shown on the relevant product page.
Prices
Prices will be displayed on the website before you place an order.
Any applicable taxes and delivery charges will be shown as required during the purchasing process.
We may change our prices from time to time, but this will not change the price of an order that has already been accepted.
UK distance-selling rules require customers to be given clear information about the product, total price, payment and delivery arrangements before they place an order.
Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products shown in your basket.
Receiving an automatic order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted an order if, for example, there has been an obvious pricing error, the product is unavailable or we are unable to fulfil it.
If we are unable to accept an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.
Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available through our checkout.
Payments are processed through Shopify and the payment providers available through our store.
We do not expect to directly receive or store your complete payment card details where those details are processed by a third-party payment provider.
Availability
Physical products may be subject to availability and individual print runs may sell out.
Adding an item to your basket does not reserve that item.
If something becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund where we are unable to supply it.
Preorders
Products described as preorders are being purchased before their planned release or dispatch date.
We will provide an expected release or dispatch period wherever possible.
Release dates can occasionally change because of printing, production, shipping or other circumstances.
If a significant delay occurs, we will provide an update where reasonably possible.
Your cancellation rights are explained in our Returns & Replacements Policy.
Physical Products and Delivery
Physical orders will be delivered to the address supplied during checkout.
Please make sure your delivery information is correct before placing your order.
Our usual dispatch arrangements, international delivery information and what to do if an order is delayed can be found in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Unless another delivery period has been agreed with the customer, UK distance-selling rules generally require goods to be delivered within 30 days.
Digital Comics and Content
Some Arborforge products may include digital comics or other digital content.
Digital purchases are supplied for your own personal use.
Purchasing digital content does not transfer ownership of the copyright or intellectual property contained within that work.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, upload, publicly distribute or commercially exploit digital Arborforge publications without permission, except where permitted by law.
Immediate Access to Digital Content
Where digital content is made available immediately after purchase, you may be asked to agree to receiving that content straight away and acknowledge that doing so can affect your normal 14-day cancellation right.
Where the law requires this consent and acknowledgement, we will obtain it before immediate digital access begins.
If the required consent is not obtained correctly, the normal cancellation right can remain in place.
Arborforge Accounts and Library
Some digital products and website features may require an Arborforge customer account.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information associated with your account is accurate and that access to your email account and sign-in credentials remains secure.
Your Library may be used to provide access to eligible digital purchases and other content associated with your account.
Access to a digital product is intended for the customer account entitled to that product and should not be deliberately shared or transferred to provide unauthorised access to others.
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Your rights will depend on the type of product purchased and the circumstances of the order.
For most physical goods purchased online, UK customers normally have the right to tell us they wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, followed by another 14 days in which to return them.
Different rules can apply to digital content once immediate access has begun.
Full information can be found in our Returns & Replacements Policy.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed products.
Faulty Products
Products supplied by Arborforge Studios must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law.
If a physical or digital product is faulty or does not match what was advertised, you may have rights to a refund, repair, replacement or other remedy depending on the circumstances.
UK consumer law includes specific protections for both physical goods and digital content.
If you have a problem with an order, contact:
support@arborforgestudios.com
Intellectual Property
Unless stated otherwise, the content made available through Arborforge Studios, including our publications, writing, artwork, characters, fictional settings, logos, branding and website material, is protected by applicable intellectual property law.
Purchasing a comic, digital edition or other Arborforge product does not transfer the intellectual property rights contained within that product.
Personal enjoyment, discussion, reviews and other lawful uses are of course unaffected.
Further information can be found in our Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.
Links to Other Websites
Our website may occasionally link to websites or services operated by other organisations.
We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of websites that we do not control.
Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
Sometimes an order or service may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as postal disruption, severe weather, problems affecting suppliers or printers, technical outages or other unexpected events.
Where this happens, we will try to keep affected customers informed and resolve the situation as reasonably as we can.
Nothing in this section removes any rights that you have under consumer law.
Our Responsibility to You
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, these terms do not attempt to exclude responsibility for faulty or misdescribed goods or other responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions as Arborforge Studios, our products or our website develop.
The terms applying to a purchase will normally be those in effect when that purchase is made.
The latest version will always be available on this website.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK or another country, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws that apply where you live.
Nothing in these terms is intended to prevent you from relying on those rights where they apply.

Accessibility Statement
We want Arborforge Studios to be a website that as many people as possible can comfortably use and enjoy.
That means thinking about accessibility while we build the site, rather than treating it as something to worry about afterwards.
Using the Arborforge Website
We try to keep the website clear, readable and easy to navigate.
That includes things like making sure text is easy to read against the background, keeping buttons and links obvious, using sensible page headings and making sure the site works properly across different screen sizes.
Where images are important to understanding a page, we will also aim to provide useful alternative text.
The website will continue to change as Arborforge grows, so this is something we expect to keep reviewing rather than considering it finished.
Comics and Digital Content
Comics are naturally very visual, and we recognise that this can make them difficult or impossible to access for some readers.
As Arborforge develops, we would like to look at ways of making our stories more accessible where we reasonably can, particularly when it comes to digital editions.
We may not always have an immediate solution, but if there is something you are unable to access, please get in touch and we will see what we can do.
Things We May Not Get Right
There may be parts of the website that are not as accessible as they should be.
This could be because of an interactive feature we have built, older material, third-party services or simply something we have missed.
If you find a problem, we would genuinely rather know about it.
Third-Party Services
Some parts of the Arborforge website are provided through other services, including things such as checkout and payment systems.
We do not have complete control over how those services are built, but accessibility is something we will keep in mind when choosing the tools Arborforge uses.
Having Trouble With Something?
If you are struggling to use part of the website or access something we have published, contact us at:
enquiries@arborforgestudios.com
Let us know what you were trying to access and what problem you ran into.
If there is another reasonable way for us to provide the information or help you access it, we will do our best to find one.
Feedback
Arborforge Studios is still growing, and so is the website.
If you notice an accessibility problem or have an idea that could make the site easier to use, you are welcome to let us know.
